Trello is a collaboration tool that organizes your projects into boards. In one glance, Trello tells you what's being worked on, who's working on what, and where something is in process. With Trello integration, you can import all your boards and cards to TimeCamp Planner.


The integration will be enabled for the entire account, so all users will have access to imported items. The integration will be connected to the Trello account of the person who enabled the integration.  

Integration with Trello will allow you to import all your:

  • Boards (as projects)
  • Lists
  • Tasks

Boards will be imported as public projects to your Workspace in TimeCamp Planner.

Lists and cards will be imported as lists and tasks under their projects (boards) in TimeCamp Planner.

Cards will be imported together with their description, checklists, and tags. 

Person who enabled the integration will be automatically added to all imported projects (boards). All other users will be able to search for these projects (boards) and join them at any time.

If someone from your Team added new boards in Trello and the person who created the integration was not invited to those boards, they won’t appear on the list of synchronized boards in TimeCamp Planner. Only boards the owner of integration is invited to could be imported.

TimeCamp Planner performs the synchronization with Trello only one time when creating an integration.

TimeCamp Planner imports the structure of boards only once. If you added new boards, lists, cards or made some changes in the boards' structure navigate to the Integrations tab, find Trello on the list, and click on the Resynchronise boards button. Synch will be executed within a few seconds.

Enable integration

Each user added to the workspace can enable the integration.

Step 1

To access the Integration tab click on your name on the left side menu and choose the Integrations option from the menu.

Step 2

Find the Trello integration on the list and click the Integrate button.

Step 3

Next, you'll need to paste your API Key and OAuth Secret from the Trello account. After all of the required fields are filled up, click on the Complete in Trello button.

Please make sure to be logged into your Trello account before opening the link.

Next,  scroll to the Allowed Origins and add to the new allowed origins.

Under the Personal Key part, you'll find the API Key to copy.

Under the OAuth part, you'll find the OAuth Secret to copy.

Step 3

You’ll be redirected to Trello and asked for a confirmation to enable the integration. Click on the Allow button.

Your Boards, Lists, and Cards will be imported to the TimeCamp Planner within an hour.

Disable integration

Only the person who enabled the integration can unlink it.

Step 1

If you decided to unlink integration click on your name on the left side menu and choose the Integrations option from the menu.

Step 2

Find Trello integration on the list and click the "3 vertical dots" button next to it. Click on the Deauthorize Trello account option.
